About Us
The organisation of civic and non-formal education ABF Belarus was founded in Belarus in 2015 as a result of the Belarusian-Swedish project to promote the methodology of Swedish (study) circles, which started in 2012. Until the events of 2020, ABF conducted its activities in different cities of Belarus, including all regional centres. In 2021, like most NGOs, the organisation was forcibly liquidated and stopped its work in the country, but reopened and continues to operate as a Belarusan organisation in Lithuania, Poland and Sakartvelo (Georgia). In 2018-2023 ABF also did a project on Swedish circles for local communities in Ukraine and Moldova.
